The Adam Equipment CBK series portable bench scale offers precision weighing results, and features a stainless steel weighing pan that resists corrosion and is easy to clean. The scale can be operated using AC power or the built-in rechargeable battery, for up to 90 hours, offering full mobility in the field and when a power supply is hard to find. The auto off function can be enabled to power off the scale automatically after periods of inactivity to conserve power. The scale has an automatic external calibration system, and overload protection prevents damage to the weighing cell if too-heavy samples are mistakenly used. The automatic data accumulation option continuously and reliably stores data internally in the scale’s memory, while the integrated RS-232 port connects to a printer or PC for either manual or automatic external recording of weighing and calibration data.

The scale weighs in five different units and has an LCD with backlight that clearly displays readings, a real time clock (RTC), and a capacity tracker for visual reference to prevent the scale from being overloaded. The scale performs weighing, check-weighing, percent-weighing, and parts-counting tasks. Red, yellow, and green LED lights notify the user during check-weighing mode if the load is under, over, or within the pre-set weight limit, while security passcodes can be employed to safeguard against the alteration of check-weighing limits. The ABS plastic housing is built to withstand tough field and lab environments. Adjustable nonslip front and rear feet provide level measurements and stability, so the scale will not tip under eccentric loads.
