This Wesco 273514 four-wheeled winch lift with adjustable straddle and invertible forked platform is made of aluminum and steel, and can be used for lifting and transporting heavy loads up to 500 lb. A manually operated winch moves the platform from its 2" minimum height to its 48.5" maximum height with forks mounted in the standard position, and a 25" minimum height and 71" maximum height with forks inverted. A locking winch crank handle keeps the carriage securely in place. The frame measures 29 x 43 x 68 inches (W x D x H) overall, and the forks measure 4 x 22.5 inches (W x D) each. (W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back; H is height, the vertical distance from bottom to top.) The inside base leg span is adjustable from 21.5 to 36". The lift has two non-marking 8" fixed wheels, two 2" swivel casters for maneuverability, and two rollers at the top of the frame to aid in horizontal transport of the lift. This four-wheeled winch lift with adjustable straddle and invertible forked platform is suitable for lifting and transporting heavy loads in industrial and commercial settings.
Material lifts typically comprise a vertical metal frame and two forks that can support a pallet of goods and that can be raised or lowered to an optimal, ergonomic height for loading or unloading. The forks may be controlled with a hand crank or a foot pump, and they can sometimes be inverted to adjust the service range. Wheels allow the material lift to be rolled for moving materials. Some material lifts have special wheels on the frame that can enable it to be loaded into a delivery truck for transport. Material lifts can be used in warehouses, storerooms, shipping facilities, and other industrial environments.
Wesco manufactures material handling equipment. The company, founded in 1948, is headquartered in North Wales, PA.
