The Wesco 273261 long scissors lift table has a steel frame and platform, a foot pedal, and four locking caster wheels and is suitable for supporting, lifting, and transporting heavy materials. The lift table is made of steel for resistance to wear and corrosion. A handle enables the lift table to be controlled and maneuvered. The foot pedal can be used to raise the platform to as high as 36". A release lever on the handle returns the platform to a lower position. The caster wheels swivel for maneuverability, measure 1-1/2" wide and 5" in diameter, and are made of polyurethane, which is resistant to corrosion and wear and won't puncture or go flat. Locks on the casters keep the lift table from rolling. This lift table has a load capacity of 1,100 lb., weighs 340 lb., and measures 74-1/4" long overall. The platform measures 63 x 32 inches (L x W) and has a service range of 11-1/4 to 36 inches high. (L is length, the horizontal distance from left to right; W is width, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
Lift tables typically comprise a frame, a scissors mechanism, and a hydraulic or motorized platform that can be raised or lowered to an optimal, ergonomic height to load or unload heavy materials, or to support a person. Some lift tables have wheels and a handle, allowing them to be used as carts for transporting materials. The platform may be controlled with a foot pump or, in the case of electric-powered lift tables, push buttons. Lift tables can be used in warehouses and other industrial environments.
