The Zebra GX420T Direct Thermal/Thermal Transfer Desktop Label Printer with 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and LCD display prints 1" per second faster than the Zebra GK420T printer. A combination of 203 dpi (8 dots/mm) printing, OpenACCESS media loading design, quick-loading ribbon system, and XML-enabled printing help to increase work efficiency. It has an ABS double-walled construction for durability. It has a standard 8 MB SDRAM memory with a 4 MB flash memory and 32-bit RISC processor for high throughput. Media sensors are transmissive and reflective to accommodate different label types. The printer accommodates black bar, black mark, continuous, continuous receipt, die-cut, fanfold, gap, notched, perforated, receipt, roll-fed, tag, and tag stock media types. Core programming languages are EPL2 and ZPL I/ZPL II. Additional connection options include serial RS-232 and USB. The electrical is auto-detectable and power-factor correction (PFC) compliant at 100 to 240 VAC and 50 to 60 Hz for use in a variety of settings, including asset management, bag tag, records management, cross docking, and shipping/receiving.
